This Alpen Apex 8x42 binocular is a lightweight durable binocular providing super optical performance at an affordable price. 8x magnification and a 42mm objective lens combined with fully multi-coated, PXA phase coated, and BAK4 optical design deliver superb performance. Long eye relief of 20mm also provides comfortable viewing while wearing eye or sun glasses. The field of view is 341 feet and this binocular has super close focus of 5 feet which is great for up-close viewing of birds and butterflies.
